In 2020 the world was confronted with both a global pandemic and a global cry for justice. That has created a moment that we must make sure we take advantage of. Many companies aggressively tackled the subject of Equity with statements of support for movements like Black Lives Matter. However, the moment calls for something far more – even more than increasing spend with diverse suppliers. Next Practices suggest that we need to look at how we multiply the impact we are having – far beyond the spend? In this three-part PERT series, we will explore the business model for corporations working with diverse suppliers with a specific emphasis on not only increasing the spend but focusing on total impact. You’ll hear from two very large complex organizations at two totally different stages (Walgreen’s and Centene) and we’ll be adding advocacy organizations such as NMSDC and WBENC, and MWBEs to the discussion.
We will also be sharing the results of the research that TMG has done and the emerging set of Next Practices that will help you in going beyond the traditional goal of higher spend and achieving a multiplier impact. Panelist:
